OTC Academy was founded in 2023 by a homeschool family who wanted a better way to educate their children. They built a career-based microschool that personalizes each child's curriculum, blends in-person and online learning, and helps students pursue their unique dreams whether in sports, trades, entrepreneurship, or beyond. Today, OTC Academy is the resource they always wished existed, now walking alongside other homeschool families.

Nicole McCormick
Founder
Nicole is the founder of OTC Academy, and her journey began where many homeschool families start at home. She homeschooled her own children before launching the academy in 2026, and that personal experience is what inspired OTC Academy from the very beginning.
With over 10 years of experience working with and educating children, Nicole personally helps test each child to understand how they learn best. She then builds a curriculum tailored specifically to them, because she believes strongly that every child learns differently and at different paces. Nicole is not afraid to go back and help a child who is struggling she stays with them, adjusts the approach, and makes sure no one gets left behind. Above all, she ensures that every child feels heard, seen, and supported. For Nicole, this isn't just an academy it's the resource she always wished existed, now built for your family.
Demonte McCormick
Coach
Coach Demonte is a former teacher with over ten years of coaching experience. He is an expert in entrepreneurship, college recruiting, and brand building, helping each child maximize their name, image, and likeness. At OTC Academy, Coach Demonte guides students toward their career goals by assessing their unique strengths and creating a personalized path whether that leads to college athletics, launching a business, or building a personal brand. His passion is walking alongside each student to help them discover their dreams and achieve them.

Trainer
Coach Edroy is a trainer and coach who specializes in speed and agility, helping kids maximize their fullest athletic potential. With over 30 years of coaching experience, he gives his all every time and knows exactly how to encourage kids to be their best. At OTC Academy, Coach Edroy works with students to build their confidence, discipline, and physical skills whether they dream of competing in sports or simply want to become stronger, faster, and more resilient in everything they do.
